Do you accept overseas student?
Yes we take students from outside of the European Union, An overseas student is someone who lives outside of the EU and requires a visa.
No we do not offer student visas as our courses are less than six months long. You can undertake a course for up to 30 days in duration with us providing it is part of your visit using a visitor’s visa. You will have to apply independently for this visa from your own country.
Will I receive a recognised qualification when I finish the course?
All of the courses we offer are recognised industry qualified through the IMA (International Make-up Association) however you will only receive this once you have passed your practical examination, theory examination and handed in your completed portfolio and research project.
Will I receive my qualification on the last day of the course?
Some students manage to hand in their assignments and portfolio on the last day and some take a few days or weeks after the course to complete the work. Once we have received your completed portfolio evidence we can send away to the IMA for your qualification. If you are from outside of the UK please allow two or three days extra.
We do not provide accommodation, however we do have a list of suggested accommodation on our website under the contact button.

Will you find students a job when they finish the course?
The school receives many job opportunities both paid and unpaid. We offer these jobs to students and graduates who have been chosen to join our LSM Pro-Team.
Does the school provide a make-up kit to all its students?
We carry every major fashion brand in our studios for the use of all the students, however we do not give a kit as this would mean that we have chosen the make-up for the student and we feel that the student should choose their own from a vast range we have on the table.
Any school offering a kit will be giving you some cheap range from the wholesalers and not the well-known fashion labels.
Designer labels do not permit the purchase of more than five items at a time of any product. This is to safeguard the products from not being sold on cheap.
We do however have shopping days at the major brands where you can get large discounts while you are a student, such as 35% discount on MAC and Bobbi Brown as well as NARS, Make-up Forever and Illamasqua. These discounts will depend of length and level of course undertaken!
